The 2016 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) season has begun.
The CFC allows federal employees to donate to more than 20,000 nonprofit organizations through payroll deductions or one-time cash or check donations.
This year’s theme is “Show Some Love” — something more than 68,000 USPS® employees did last year through their contributions.
USPS employees are encouraged to support the causes that affect them by giving to one of the many participating charities. CFC campaign workers will share contribution details throughout the campaign.
“Whether you are passionate about veterans’ services, disaster relief, cancer research, or animal rights, the CFC has a charity that could use your help,” said Finance and Planning VP Luke Grossmann, who is serving as this year’s CFC vice chairperson at Postal Service™ headquarters in Washington, DC.
“Your commitment, as we work together, will ensure this year’s campaign achieves the best results ever,” said Grossmann.
The CFC has raised more than $8 billion since it began in 1961 — including $177 million in 2015 alone.
Employees can contribute through Dec. 15. USPS CFC representatives are hosting kick-off events at facilities across the country.
