2017 Mailing Promotions

The 2017 Mailing Promotions continue to build upon the engagement strategies of past promotions, but also provide some exciting new opportunities. The program requirements documents provide the complete detailed requirements for participation in each promotion. Registration begins November 15, 2016, and ends December 31, 2016.

Registration begins December 15, 2016, and ends June 30, 2017 (one month prior to the promotion end date).

New technology qualifier: Virtual Reality.

Separate requirements for participants:

1. Companies who have participated before must meet:

a. Color requirements; and

b. Personalization requirements.

2. Companies who have not participated before must meet:

a. Color requirements only.

NEW Promotion for small/medium first time mailers.

Promotion Period has been reduced to 5 months.

New eligible mail qualifier: Alternate Postage/Share Mail.

Metallic ink and clear ink (5th color) are not eligible.

New technology qualifier: Digital to Direct Mail.

All mailpieces must be submitted to the Program Office for review and approval.

Limited time offer (3 months) of an upfront 5 percent postage discount on up to 10,000 mailpieces during the length of the promotion.

Pop-ups/pop-overs may not be presented before the customer gets to the purchase website.

Promotion period extends to 6 months.

Laminated postcards and full coverage gloss treatments and spot treatments are not eligible.

All participating mailpieces must be preapproved by the Program Office.

The Program Office response time is extended to 4 business days.

To qualify, the mailpieces must either:

1. Contain print-mobile technology; or

2. Use an automated mail tracking system that places prospects who visit a company’s website into an automatic follow-up system.

There will be 2 credit acceptance/release periods.

When submitting mailings (this includes via the Self-Service Terminal SST), the mailer must submit a mailpiece sample and postage statement to the BMEU Clerk.
