Effective April 12, 2018, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 202.5.1.1, to clarify that in addition to automation and Enhanced Carrier Route automation price letters, machinable price letters must also have a barcode clear zone unless the piece bears an Intelligent Mail barcode with a delivery point routing code in the address block.
