The United States Postal Inspection Service® (USPIS®) has revised Poster 702, Dangerous Goods Warning Labels Prohibited in International Mail, to display the new Department of Transportation (DOT) lithium battery marks and add a reference to ORM-D markings, which are limited to domestic mail. Employees can use Poster 702 and other USPIS posters and materials to assist customers in determining if their package meets Postal Service™, DOT, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
On May 7, 2018, revised Poster 702, dated March 2018, will be available to order from the Material Distribution Center through eBuy2 or the Touch-Tone Order Entry (TTOE) system at 800-273-1509.
