Effective October 7, 2019, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 254.1.1.1, to clarify postage payment methods for Parcel Select®.
DMM section 254.1.1.1 provides the eligible postage payment methods for Parcel Select destination entry pieces and Parcel Select Ground® pieces. This revision further clarifies postage evidencing systems (meters and PC Postage® products as stipulated under 604.4) when used as a payment method for Parcel Select destination entry and ground pieces.
Although the Postal Service will not include these revisions in the DMM until October 7, 2019, the standards are effective immediately.
