Publication 550 Revision: For the Record, An Employee‘s Guide to The Freedom of Information Act and The Privacy Act of 1974

Effective February 2019, the Postal Service™ revised Publication 550, For the Record, An Employee‘s Guide to The Freedom of Information Act and The Privacy Act of 1974, to include updated policy regarding two federal laws:

n The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and

n The Privacy Act of 1974.

The pamphlet provides information about the rights and responsibilities of Postal Service employees under the two statutes. The February 2019 edition of Publication 550 supersedes all previous editions.
