Mailing promotions play a powerful role in an integrated marketing campaign, which helps to drive sales and deliver a solid return on investment for businesses. Each promotion period runs from 3 to 6 months. Here is a brief overview of what USPS® offers:
Leveraging the physical aspects of mail as well as advances in print technology, marketers can enhance how their customers interact and engage with mail to drive response rates. During this promotion, eligible mailers who incorporate a multi-sensory experience in their mailpiece may receive a postage discount. Eligible experiences include:

n Sound,
n Scent,
n Texture/tactile treatments, or
n Taste.

To ensure that direct mail continues to be a relevant part of the marketing mix, this promotion encourages mailers to incorporate technologies in their mail campaigns, such as:
n “Enhanced” augmented reality,
n Virtual reality and Mixed reality,

n Video in print (featuring Shoppable video, Integration with Digital Assistants, and Digital to Direct Mail technology).

This promotion is intended to help slow the decline of First-Class Mail® including Business Reply Mail® (BRM) and Courtesy Reply Mail™ (CRM) pieces. As technology continues to disrupt mail volume, the Postal Service™ encourages mailers to continue distributing BRM, CRM, and Share Mail® pieces. Mailers who register their Mailer ID information and use eligible Intelligent Mail® barcodes on their BRM, CRM, and Share Mail pieces may receive a postage credit for each mailpiece placed in the mailstream by the recipient and scanned during the promotion period.
