Use the Revitalized Preferred Fuel Network to Save on Fuel Costs

The Postal Service™ periodically adds new, removes expired, or renews existing Preferred Fuel Network (PFN) agreements. Site Managers and their drivers are asked to support the revitalized PFN brands when discounts at these locations provide a comparable cost per gallon of fuel, as this helps reduce overall fuel costs to the Postal Service. The PFN brands listed in the table shown here provide gallon-based discounts for all fuel purchased from their locations.

Almost 10 percent of the fuel purchased per week by Postal Service vehicles are purchased through the PFN. By making fuel purchases through the PFN whenever possible, drivers reduce costs to the organization.

Send any PFN-related questions or information about local retailers that you think might be a good addition to the network to USPSPreferredFuelingNetwork@usps.gov. We will review their capabilities.

For the most current list of participating PFN retail locations, visit blue.usps.gov/accounting/fuelcards/USPS-PFN-Locations.xlsx.
