Effective November 19, 2020, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Brazil in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to note that the importation of seeds requires prior approval from the Brazilian Agriculture Department.
This revision is based on a formal request that Correios (the designated postal operator of Brazil) made through the Universal Postal Union via International Bureau Circular 142, dated October 5, 2020.
