Management Instruction: Telework Program for Eligible Nonbargaining Employees and PCES

Effective July 30, 2021, the Postal Service™ published Management Instruction (MI) EL-310-2021-2, Telework Program for Eligible Nonbargaining Employees and PCES. The following summarizes key updates to the revised policies in MI EL-310-2021-2:

n An employee’s ability to participate in the Telework Program must be approved by the vice president or executive vice president over their respective functional groups.

n Allows for up to three (3) days of telework during the week.

n Allows probationary employees to participate in telework, if approved.

MI EL-310-2021-2 is now available on the PolicyNet website:

n Go to blue.usps.gov.

n In the left-hand column, click Essential Links, and then click PolicyNet.

n Go to the right-hand side under “Published Forms and Directives.”

n Click Management Instructions.
