On September 15, 2021, the Postal Service™ filed an updated Schedule of Regular and Predictable Rate Adjustments for Market Dominant product pricing with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC).
In the appended schedule filed with the PRC, the Postal Service said it will forgo any Market Dominant product price increase in January 2022 and intends to next adjust Market Dominant product prices in July 2022. Beginning January 2023, Market Dominant product price adjustments will occur twice yearly (e.g., January 2023, July 2023, January 2024, July 2024, etc.).
Market Dominant products include First-Class Mail®, USPS Marketing Mail®, Periodicals, Package Services, and Special Services.
