Information Security

Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week

Every year, thousands of innovative and rewarding positions in cybersecurity are created. The Department of Labor predicts that Information Technology and cybersecurity will be among the fastest growing and best paying jobs over the next decade.

Do you think you have the skills for a career in cybersecurity? Luckily, cybersecurity is an all-encompassing field composed of individuals from all different backgrounds and skill sets. In fact, you may already possess several of the desired skills for many cybersecurity positions, such as problem solving, communication, and project management.

As one of the largest organizations in the nation, the Postal Service™ must stay on the cutting edge of cybersecurity to detect and deter the thousands of security risks that the organization faces daily.

During National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, CyberSafe at USPS® will highlight the various Corporate Information Security Office’s portfolios and briefly describe their roles in securing the USPS® network.

If you are interested in a promising career in cybersecurity with USPS, check out current job openings on Blue under the eCareer tab (blue.usps.gov/wps/myportal/ecareer).
