During the holidays, increased volume and weather conditions might affect the ability of the Postal Service™ to transport all Priority Mail Express® (PME) 1-day shipments. Similar to our competitors, the Postal Service has adjusted its postage refund policy for PME items sent from December 22–25.
Although the Postal Service fully expects PME service to meet 1-day delivery requirements where available, the Postal Service will not refund postage unless the first delivery attempt or delivery occurs more than 2 delivery days after the Acceptance scan event.
