DMM Revision: First-Class Package Service — Commercial Enter and Deposit

Effective January 9, 2022, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), sections 286.1.1 and 604.4.6.3, to clarify the First-Class Package Service — Commercial (FCPS-C) standards for enter and deposit.

FCPS-C was originally a presorted priced product and was later redefined as a single-piece priced product. These revisions will update the standards for enter and deposit to better reflect FCPS-C as a single-piece priced product. In addition, the Postal Service will update the “Enter and Deposit” section of Quick Service Guide (QSG) 280.

Although these revisions will not be published in the DMM until January 9, 2022, the standards are effective immediately.
