Effective December 2021, the Postal Service™ revised PS Form 3972, Leave Year 2022 Absence Analysis, to update the form information for the upcoming year.
This December edition replaces the previously released November 2021 edition, which required a correction to include a row for the 2-week pay period of December 31, 2022, to January 13, 2023. (Each leave year begins with the first day of the first complete pay period within a calendar year, which in 2023 is January 14, 2023.)

n Go to blue.usps.gov.
n In the left-hand column, click Essential Links, and then click PolicyNet.
n Go to the right-hand side under “Published Forms and Directives,” click Forms, and then click on the range 3000–3999.
n Scroll down to the form entry and click the PDF icon.
