Passwords are the front line of protection for Postal Service™ users and systems; however, many of us have multiple passwords for various systems and accounts. With so many passwords, it is easy to forget one or two.
For this reason, all ACE users are encouraged to set up their eAccess password recovery settings today. Setting up your questions and responses will help you reset your ACE password without having to call the Information Technology (IT) Service Desk.
Setting up your password recovery settings is quick and easy:
n Log into eAccess at eaccess.usps.gov/ords/eaccessnp/sso_std.sso_welcome with your ACE ID and password.
n Click the “My Profile” tab.
n Click the “Password Recovery Settings” button and select your questions and responses. Be sure to select responses you will remember.
If you don’t set up your password recovery settings in eAccess, you will not be able to reset your ACE password without your manager’s approval. Your only option will be to call 1-800-USPS-HELP and follow prompts on the Interactive Voice Response system to submit a password reset request for your manager’s approval.
