Debt of Gratitude: USPS to Honor Military Veterans

Certificate of appreciation

USPS® will send certificates of appreciation to employees who have served in the military.

The Postal Service™ will honor employees who have served in the military with a special certificate of appreciation to mark Veterans Day, November 11, 2022. The certificates are signed by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and will be mailed to employees’ homes.

Additionally, the organization will release a video on November 8 that features remarks from DeJoy and military veterans. The video also includes a photo montage celebrating Postal Service employees who have served in any branch or component of the military. The video will be available on Blue and LiteBlue for the remainder of November.

Veterans Day holds special significance for the Postal Service. The organization is one of the largest employers of veterans, with approximately 100,000 employees having served in the military.
