Managers must review employee and contractor access to USPS® applications and systems before March 29, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
The periodic reviews are required under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Information about this law can be found at blue.usps.gov/sox/sox-overview.htm.
To review employee and contractor access, managers must:
n Verify users are properly assigned to them and that their occupation or position titles are correct. This data must be consistent with employees’ PS Form 50, Notification of Personnel Action.
n Ensure users’ access to systems and applications are restricted to only what is required to perform their current job duties.
Managers must perform the reviews using both eAccess (eaccess.usps.gov/ords/eaccessnp/sso_std.sso_welcome) and ARIS (aris.usps.gov/identityiq/login.jsf?prompt=true).
For instructions on performing both kinds of reviews, visit usps.servicenowservices.com/sp?id=index.
