Effective July 9, 2023, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 508.5.5.5, to reflect a change in the payment method for caller service.
On December 13, 2022, the Postal Service announced that, except for federal agencies paying through Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection (IPAC), customers must transition to the Enterprise Payment System (EPS) to renew and reserve caller services. The Postal Service will no longer accept payments by cash, credit or debit card, check, money order, or by mail, to a postmaster. Information on EPS is available on PostalPro at postalpro.usps.com.
For questions or support, contact the USPS® Mailing and Shipping Solutions Center (MSSC) at 877-672-0007 or MSSC@usps.gov.
Although the Postal Service will not publish this revision in the DMM until July 9, 2023, the standards are effective July 1, 2023.
