Effective July 9, 2023, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), in various sections, to add USPS Click-N-Ship® as a payment method for certain commercial mail products.
USPS Click-N-Ship is currently a payment method for retail mail products. The Postal Service is adding USPS Click-N-Ship as a payment method for commercial Priority Mail Express®, Priority Mail®, First-Class Package Service — Commercial, and Parcel Select Ground®.
Note: Effective July 9, 2023, First-Class Package Service® will be renamed USPS Ground Advantage™. USPS Click-N-Ship will continue to be available for USPS Ground Advantage — Commercial.
These new standards will allow the Postal Service to extend commercial prices that are available on external platforms and to enhance the customer experience.
Although the Postal Service will not publish these revisions in the DMM until July 9, 2023, the standards are effective immediately.
