When the investigation is complete, you will receive a copy of the investigative file and a notice explaining your options at this point in the EEO process. The notice explains that within 30 calendar days of the date you receive the investigative file, you may request either a hearing before the EEOC or a final Postal Service decision without a hearing based on the EEO case file (a merit final agency decision).
