Applying for an OFAC License

For guidance related to applying for a license, refer to 31 CFR 501.801, available at www.ecfr.gov.

If an export license from OFAC is required for your shipment, you may apply for a license electronically via the OFAC website at http:⁄⁄ licensing.ofac.treas.gov. Alternatively, you may send a letter providing a detailed description of the proposed transaction, including the names and addresses of all individuals⁄companies involved. Submit your license request letter to OFAC either by fax at 202-622-1657 or by mail to the following address:
