Lease Trailer Services suppliers occasionally incur damage to their trailer equipment through the fault or negligence of the Postal Service™ or its suppliers. Under such circumstances, the Lease Trailer Services contract entitles the supplier to be reimbursed by the Postal Service for the cost of trailer repair or replacement, whichever is less. This reimbursement is subject to a contractual threshold and initiated when the supplier submits a properly documented claim.
