Breast Cancer Research Semipostal Publicity Kit > Procedures for Stamp Distribution Offices, Stamp Services Centers, and Users of the Stamp Services System for Revaluating Breast Cancer Research Semipostal Stamps
The value of the Breast Cancer Research semipostal stamp will increase from 45 cents to 55 cents, effective May 14, 2007. The master inventories of stamp services system (SSS) will be updated automatically by Stamp Distribution Headquarters to reflect the new selling price starting at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on May 14, 2007.
Additionally, SDOs and SSCs must not logon to the SSS program before 9:00 a.m. ET or after close of business, from May 12 through May 14, 2007.
When the inventory system is updated, the closing balance on PS Form 3958, Unit Reserve Stamp Stock Transaction Record, for the date of May 12 will not match the opening balance on May 14, 2007. The difference should equal the total revaluation amount.
Stamp distribution supervisors at all facilities processing the Breast Cancer Research semipostal stamp should perform the following on May 12 or on their last day of business prior to May 14, 2007.
