The Star Wars stamps go on sale nationwide in Post Offices and on usps.com May 25. But before the “movie that launched a thousand sequels” gets its own stamps, the stamps themselves are being promoted at — where else? — movie theaters.
A promotional video featuring the Star Wars collectible stamps will play before feature presentations and on TV sets in lobbies at select theaters in New York, California and Washington, DC. The promo captures the personalities of the Star Wars characters in a fanfare of sound effects, music and imagery.
