DMM Revision: CIN Codes and Documentation Standards

Effective August 2, 2007, we are revising Mailing Stan­dards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) to restore content identifier number (CIN) codes for enhanced carrier route letters and rate level headings for Periodicals letters sorted to AADC and mixed AADC destinations. These revisions will be incorporated in our August update of the DMM as noted below. We encourage software developers and mailers to update their systems as soon as possible to include these changes.
