DMM Revision: Sortation Level Abbreviation for Periodicals Merged 3-Digit Sacks

Effective August 30, 2007, we are revising the table for sortation level abbreviations in our documentation stan­dards to add the “M3D” abbreviation for merged 3-digit sacks of Periodicals mail. We will incorporate this revision into section 708.1.4 of the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) as noted below.
