Effective March 13, 2008, the Postal Service™ is revising the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) to eliminate the requirement that mailers provide samples of Repositionable Notes (RPNs) and Customized MarketMail® (CMM) samples with extra corresponding postage statements to the Pricing and Classification Service Center (PCSC).
Current standards for CMM require that mailers provide a sample of CMM pieces and an extra copy of the corresponding postage statement to the Postal Service to forward to the PCSC. In addition, current standards for RPN require that mailers provide two RPN sample pieces to the PCSC and USPS Engineering Letter Technology.
This revision eliminates the requirement that mailers provide such documentation to the PCSC.
