Encryption 101

All employees using a Postal Service laptop computer or other mobile device are required to encrypt sensitive information on the device. Information Technology has approved two methods of encryption for laptop users — Encrypted File System (EFS) and WinZip. A video, Encryp­tion 101, assists employees on how to access and use EFS and WinZip. Anyone using mobile computing devices should take a few minutes to view Encryption 101, available at USPS-TV On Demand.
