Minimum Wage Change

Effective July 24, 2008, the federally mandated minimum wage was increased to $6.55 per hour. Local buying officials must ensure that self-employed service suppliers who supply services purchased under local buying procedures earn no less than the minimum wage of $6.55 per hour as of July 24, 2008. Direct any questions concerning this matter to the appro­priate Supply Management Category Management Center (CMC).
