Publication 45, Achieving a Violence-Free Workplace Together, June 2009, has been completely revised. It is effective immediately and supersedes all previous versions of Publication 45.
The Postal Service’s Workplace Violence Prevention Program provides employees with information and resources regarding the proper violence prevention and response measures. To achieve a violence-free workplace, every employee, every day, must do his/her part by reporting all perceived acts of aggression, violence, or threats. Publication 45 provides employees with the information and resources to reach this goal.
