The international reply coupon (IRC) item 330700 (pictured below) expires on December 31, 2009. IRCs that bear the December 31, 2009, expiration date may be redeemed or exchanged as follows:
n Foreign-origin IRCs with the expiration date December 31, 2009, may be redeemed thru December 31, 2009. Do not redeem after December 31, 2009.
n U.S.-origin IRCs with the expiration date December 31, 2009, are exchangeable under current Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual, policies through December 31, 2009 (purchase price less 1 cent). Do not exchange after December 31, 2009.

Note: IRCs (foreign- or U.S.-issued) with an expiration date prior to December 31, 2009, have no value and must not be redeemed or exchanged.
After December 31, 2009, retail associates (RAs) must return all IRCs (foreign- and U.S.-issued) with the December 31, 2009, expiration date from retail stamp credits and segments to the unit reserve. Additionally, after December 31, 2009, ensure all RAs are instructed to redeem/exchange only IRC, item 330800 (shown on page 2) with the expiration date of December 31, 2013.
Postal Bulletin 22275 (12-31-09) will provide instructions and dates for returning redeemed/exchanged IRCs to Stamp Distribution Offices (SDOs) or Stamp Services Centers (SSCs).
The version of the IRC currently being offered for sale by the Postal Service™ and foreign postal administrations is pictured on page 2. This version of the IRC does not expire until December 31, 2013, and can be redeemed or exchanged pursuant to instructions and procedures in Handbook F-101, Field Accounting Procedures. Postal retail units may request this item from their servicing SDO or SSC and are reminded to order stamps and stamped paper to meet customer demand and not to exceed stamp stock limits.
