Effective August 2, 2010, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) Exhibits 292.462, 292.47, and 293.462 to reflect Postal Service operational changes.
International Priority Airmail™ (IPA®) and International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) mailings for all origin ZIP™ Codes that were previously dispatched to the Seattle Processing and Distribution Center are to be dispatched to the San Francisco International Service Center. The 3-digit origin ZIP Codes that are affected with this change are 590–599, 821, 832–838, 970–986, and 988–999. Consequently, Exhibits 292.462, 292.47, and 293.462 are being revised accordingly.
Also, we are making minor revisions to the ZIP Codes in Exhibit 292.47 for Canada IPA and ISAL service to reflect current information — for instance, we have removed some 3-digit ZIP Code prefixes (e.g., 004 and 987) and added others (e.g., 006–009 and 851).
