On January 3, 2011, in Kansas City, Missouri, the Postal Service™ issued Liberty Bell stamped envelopes (Forever® priced at 44 cents), with one design in six envelope varieties with pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). These are 2011 versions of envelopes originally issued in 2009. The six PSA varieties are in addition to the six varieties with water-activated gum (WAG), also released January 3, 2011, as announced in the article “Stamp Announcement 11-02: Liberty Bell Forever Stamped Envelope” in Postal Bulletin 22300 (12-16-10, pages 105–108). The envelopes were designed by Terry McCaffrey, USPS®. These PSA stamped envelopes currently are limited to sale through the Personalized Stamped Envelope program, except as noted below.
