IMM Revision: Priority Mail International Insurance Updates to Cameroon, Lebanon, and Montenegro

Effective May 7, 2012, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM^®) to reflect the availability of insurance for Priority Mail International^® parcel service to the following countries:

n Cameroon has eliminated the option to purchase insurance for Priority Mail International parcel items. (Previously, the maximum limit was $5,000.) Conse­quently, the option to purchase return receipt service for insured Priority Mail International parcels is also eliminated.

n Lebanon has eliminated the option to purchase insurance for Priority Mail International parcel items. (Previously, the maximum limit was $65.) Conse­quently, the option to purchase return receipt service for insured Priority Mail International parcels is also eliminated.

n Montenegro offers the option to purchase insurance for Priority Mail International parcel items up to a maximum limit of $5,000. (Previously, insurance for Priority Mail International parcels was not available.)
