IMM Correction: Items Improperly Deposited Bearing a Retail Customs Form

The article titled “IMM Revision: Items Improperly Deposited Bearing a Retail Customs Form” in Postal Bulletin 22365 (12-13-12, pages 13–14) incorporated updated mailing standards for improperly deposited items bearing a retail customs form.

In that article, the existing Note that appeared after item “h” in section 123.722 was to be revised; however, upon publication into Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®), the Note was inadvertently added as an additional Note. We will correct this by removing the second Note that currently appears after IMM 123.722h in the September 3, 2013 edition.
