All Postal Service™ employees are required to comply with the Standards of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch (“the Standards”). One of the provisions in the Standards prohibits Postal Service employees from accepting gifts from an outside, non-Federal source. Although there are exceptions to this general rule that would allow Postal Service employees to accept certain gifts, they should always consider whether doing so would create the appearance that they are breaking the rules. To remind Postal Service employees of the gift rules, please display the poster on your employee’s bulletin board.
