DMM Revision: USPS Package Intercept Payment Option

Effective November 4, 2013, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) 507.5 to expand the payment options for commercial requests for USPS Package Intercept™ service to include Centralized Account Payment System (CAPS) trust accounts. Commercial customers are currently required to use only CAPS (ACH-Debit) accounts to pay the postage and fees for Package Intercept service. This revision will serve to expand the DMM standards to also allow CAPS trust accounts as an acceptable payment method for mailers using USPS Package Intercept service.
