Effective November 4, 2013, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) section 430.0 to align the DMM text for the acceptable payment methods for First-Class Package Service™ parcels paid at Commercial Plus Prices (CPP) to include PC Postage.
On October 26, 2012, Federal Register Volume 77, Number 208, Pages 65279-65293, FR Doc No: 2012-26243 (accessible at www.gpo.gov) was published announcing DMM changes to expand the acceptable payment methods for First-Class Package Service parcels paid at Commercial Plus Prices to include PC Postage, effective January 27, 2013. A subsequent article published in Postal Bulletin 22352 on 12-13-12 included this same revision. This article will serve to align the standards with the prior article to update the areas of the DMM that were inadvertently omitted previously.
