In the article “DMM Revision: Domestic Competitive Products Pricing and Mailing Standards Changes,” in Postal Bulletin 22378 (12-12-13, page 4), the 12:00 p.m. delivery time option for Priority Mail Express™ Next Day and Second Day Delivery was discontinued.
Effective February 9, 2014, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), to retain the 12:00 p.m. delivery time option for Priority Mail Express™ Next Day and Second Day Delivery. Priority Mail Express items will now be available for delivery at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. based on the origin and destination ZIP Codes™. A 10:30 a.m. delivery time option based on the origin and destination ZIP Codes will also be available for a fee.
