Effective May 15, 2014, Management Instruction (MI) FM-640-2014-2, Government-Issued, Individually Billed Travel Charge Cards, is published to reflect the elimination of cash advances for nonbargaining unit employees using the cash withdrawal feature of the government-issued individually billed travel cards. This change will not affect any of the other features of the travel card or the ability to pay for official travel-related expenses.
You are reminded that the Government-issued, individually billed travel cards are issued to employees to use for official USPS® travel-related expenses ONLY.
