DMM Revision: Clarification — Centralized Account Processing System (CAPS)

Effective July 28, 2014, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) in various sections to cor­rect references to the Centralized Account Processing Sys­tem (CAPS) inadvertently listed as Centralized Account Payment System.

This article also serves to eliminate any confusion with other systems such as the Centralized Payment System (CPP) for Periodicals Mail. The following Publication will also be updated accordingly: PUB 95, Quick Service Guide.
