IMM Revision: Size and Weight Limits for Australia

Effective September 7, 2014, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM^®) to reflect changes to the size and weight limits for Priority Mail Express International^® and Priority Mail International^® services for Australia as follows:

n Priority Mail Express International: The size limit increases to a maximum length and girth combined of 97 inches, and the maximum weight limit increases to 66 pounds. Previously, the maximum length and girth combined was 79 inches and the maximum weight was 44 pounds. The maximum length of 36 inches remains the same.

n Priority Mail International: The size limit increases to a maximum length and girth combined of 97 inches. Previously, the maximum length and girth combined was 79 inches. The maximum length of 42 inches and the maximum weight limit of 66 pounds remain the same.
