Effective January 25, 2015, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) section 705.14.2.2 to eliminate “MXD” on the first line of an optional FSS Facility sort placard. This minor revision should have been included in the prior FSS sortation standards but was inadvertently overlooked. As a result, the first line of the placard will now align with the instructions on Labeling List L006.
