IMM Revision: Certificate of Mailing Service Available for Priority Mail International Service

Effective January 17, 2016, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) sections 232.91 and 311.21, to reflect that the Certificate of Mailing extra service offering will continue to be available for Priority Mail International® service.

The article titled “IMM Revision: Changes to Pricing and Mailing Standards for International Shipping Services” in Postal Bulletin 22430 (12-10-15, pages 23–52) included revisions to sections 232.91 and 311.21 indicating that Certificate of Mailing service would not be available for Priority Mail International service. However, we will not make those published revisions but instead will continue to use the wording currently in IMM 232.91 and 311.21.
