The Postal Service™ revised PS Form 571, Discrepancy of $100 or More in Financial Responsibility, to reflect policy changes for internal Postal Service investigations. Effective March 17, 2016, for discrepancies of $100 or more, send PS Form 571 to the Office of the Inspector General at hotline@uspsoig.gov. Additionally, send a copy of PS Form 571 to the district finance manager and Postmaster, and file a copy at the Postal Service retail unit.
