IMM Revision: Retention Period for Inbound International Mail Items

Effective September 1, 2016, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®), section 766.1, to move information from a cross-reference in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), section 508.1.1.7, directly into the IMM for clarity and ease of use.

[Revise the text of 766.1 to read as follows:]
