Effective October 3, 2016, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®), sections 201.9.0 and 243.9.0, Customized MarketMail, for simplification and consistency with standards and to remove redundancy.
The Postal Service will revise the standards in 201.9.0 to simplify the process used to determine the length and height of a Customized MarketMail™ piece. The revised standards will provide consistency in the DMM when determining the length and height of a mailpiece. Section 243.9.0 will be revised to remove redundancy.
Although this clarification will not be published in the DMM until October 3, 2016, this revision is effective immediately.
