Effective March 1, 2018, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect a change to the Individual Country Listing (ICL) for Turkey.
As a result of a formal request made through the Universal Postal Union (UPU) via International Bureau Circular (IBC) 007, dated January 29, 2018, Turkey is adding a prohibition on all liquids. This prohibition also applies to mail in transit, so Turkey requests that mailers not send shipments that include liquids to or via Turkey.
