Effective March 29, 2018, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect changes to the Individual Country Listing (ICL) for Iraq.
As noted in the Universal Postal Union’s International Bureau Circular 28, dated March 5, 2018, Iraq now accepts postal items containing cameras, mobile (cellular) telephones, and laptop computers.
Consequently, we will revise the list of Prohibitions in the ICL for Iraq by removing entries for those items, thereby indicating that they are no longer prohibited.
